Our Experience
When we visited EPCOT during Festival of the Arts, we were genuinely surprised by how busy it felt.

Final Thoughts: Are EPCOT Festivals Worth It for UK Families?
The EPCOT festivals undoubtedly add something extra to a Disney World holiday, but it’s worth remembering that many of the benefits are aimed more towards adults than children.

During our visit to Festival of the Arts, we found ourselves spending more time navigating busy walkways and keeping track of the children around World Showcase than enjoying the festival itself.
That’s not to say the festivals aren’t worth experiencing. The Flower & Garden Festival’s character topiaries are fantastic for families, and the Festival of the Holidays adds a wonderful festive atmosphere.
However, if your children’s priorities are meeting characters, riding attractions, and enjoying classic Disney experiences, the festivals may not be the main highlight of your trip.
For UK families planning a Disney World holiday in 2026, it’s worth viewing the festivals as an added bonus rather than the primary reason to visit.
