I’m a travel blogger from Bolton and a mum to two boys. I first visited Walt Disney World in 1995, and Disney has been part of my life ever since. Together with my partner, I’ve now visited all 12 Disney parks worldwide.
Why I Started Orlando From UK
I created Orlando From UK because most Orlando planning advice online is written from a US perspective, and UK families often have very different questions — school holidays, flights, dining plans, budgeting, travel documents, and trip length can all look different when you’re travelling from the UK. My aim is simple: honest, practical, up-to-date Orlando advice specifically for UK travellers.
My Orlando Experience
I took my eldest son to Orlando for the first time in 2021 — his first Disney trip. Since then, my second son was born and has also visited Orlando with us. We’ve also visited Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Tokyo Disney Resort as a family. Seeing Disney through a child’s eyes, and learning what actually works for young families, is what shapes the advice I share here.
Every Family is Different
Every family enjoys Orlando differently — not every child loves rides, and that’s fine. I believe the best Orlando holidays are built around what your family actually enjoys, not trying to do everything.
