🚌 Disney World Transportation Guide for UK Families with a Pram (2026)
Planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort from the UK with a baby, toddler, or young children? One of the biggest questions families have is:
“What is the easiest Disney transport option when using a pram?”
This complete guide explains:
Disney World transportation between hotels and parks
Which Disney transport allows prams to stay open
Walking routes between Disney resorts and parks
Disney Skyliner, Monorail, buses, and boats
Getting to Disney Springs with a pram
Disney security with a pram
Best Disney resorts for families with toddlers
If you’re travelling from the UK with little ones, understanding Disney transportation can make your holiday much less stressful
✨ If you need help deciding whether to take your pram in the first place, let us help you. https://www.orlandofromuk.co.uk/post/do-you-need-a-pram-at-disney-world-a-uk-parent-s-honest-guide-to-visiting-wdw-with-kids
✨ If you’re wondering which pram to take to Disney, my biggest tip is to choose something lightweight, comfy, and easy to push after a long day in the parks. We took our Baby Jogger City Tour 2 and honestly found it perfect — it handled the parks really well, had plenty of storage underneath for snacks and essentials, and the large canopy was great for keeping little one shaded in the Florida heat. You’ll be doing so much walking at Disney, so having a pram that reclines for naps and folds down easily for buses or transport makes a huge difference. A good pram can genuinely make your Disney days so much easier (and save tired little legs too!).
🔒 Disney World Security with a Pram
Many parents worry about Disney World security checks with a pram, but the process is normally very family-friendly.
In most cases:
Babies and toddlers can stay in the pram
Bags must be removed from underneath
Cast Members may check the hood and storage basket
Large bags go through separate screening
Older children may occasionally be asked to step out briefly, but many families find babies rarely need to leave the pram.
This is especially helpful when children are asleep during early mornings or after fireworks.
✨ This table shows you an overview of which hotels have which direct transport options.
